NEW  SPORTS TALK SHOW (ON A TRIAL BASIS)

Date of next show to be determined.

Please note new time: 14:30 – 15:30 PM.

The time has been changed to accommodate members who play golf in the morning

The show started Tuesday, July 21 at 9:00 AM.  The first meeting duration was 60 minutes.

Then and depending on the participation and availability of speakers, it will be decided if the sessions will be extended to 90 minutes.

Our first guest was Jessica Rusnak.  She has been a guest at the Hot Stove League on many occasions.

Jessica talked briefly about her background.  Even though hockey is the main sport she has covered during her career, any sport was open for discussion.

Jessica is a Sports Columnist on CBC Daybreak on Monday to Friday from 5:30AM-8:30AM.  She has been working on TV since 2013.  Some of the work she has done for TSN includes the role of Rink side Reporter for the Montreal Canadiens Regional Broadcasts, Feature Reporter for the Canada Games (summer 2013 and winter 2015) as well as stories for TSN.ca.  Jessica has been a regular guest on the Montreal Gazette’s Hockey Inside/Out show.

The Show will be on a monthly basis to start with.  Depending on the success of the program and the availability of speakers, it can be possibly expanded to twice a month.

NOTE:  The Hot Stove League will only resume when we can meet in person.
